A very warm welcome to my website.  I am a versatile artist with a rare capacity for fine art work with equal skill in watercolour, pencil, oils, pastel, and pen and ink.  I offer a personal service to all my customers to ensure that they are completely satisfied with their purchase.

About Me

Now based in Leicester, I have had a busy artistic life, having exhibited

locally, nationally, and internationally, and have an enviable reputation

for the variety and beauty of my drawings and paintings.  

Because of my topographical work, which involves the recording of buildings of historic note, Professor Gwyn A. Williams has aptly called me ‘ a remembrancer’.

Some Career Milestones

My drawings have appeared regularly in two newspapers, the Western Mail in Cardiff, and weekly in the Leicester Mercury for over thirty yearsunder the title ‘Sketchbook’.  A book entitled ‘Sketchbook’ of about 90 penand ink drawings that have appeared in the Leicester Mercury, is available for sale.  

I have been artist in residence at a considerable of number of places in England, Wales and the USA, including banks, museums and large departmental stores.

Important commissions have included documenting the slate quarries in North Wales, and the buildings in St. Fagan’s Folk Museum (commissioned by the National Museum of Wales); the remains of Jewish synagogues in Wales; and buildings of the House of Commons, directly related to the late former

speaker, Lord Tonypandy; and the Churches in Leicester Diocese for a millennium exhibition (commissioned by the Diocese).

All this varied work has enhanced my artistic skills.
